We are disheartened by another incident of violence that unfolded in Half Moon Bay, CA, occurring just days after the Monterey Park mass shooting. These dreadful events have shocked our community as we process and recover from these acts of violence.
We extend our hearts toward the families and loved ones of the seven victims, and reiterate our call that the necessary resources and support are given to the local communities who have been impacted. To all those who are struggling right now: we share in your grief and hope that we can come together to heal and take care of each other during this time of devastating loss.
Based in Washington, D.C., the National Council ofAsian Pacific Americans is a coalition of thirty-eight national Asian Pacific American organizations that represent the interests of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) communities and to provide a national voice for our communities’ concerns.
