The U.S. Eastern District court will hold a trial for Professor Anming Hu and we are looking to get concerned community members to attend this trial in Knoxville, TN on June 7, 2021 to show support for him.

Anming Hu is a Canadian citizen who has dreamed of pursuing science since growing up in a rural village in China. He followed his dream to the United States and contributed to our academic research enterprise as a NASA researcher and a professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK). Instead of new opportunities, Hu found himself facing a nightmare separated from his family and his career in tatters as he became one of many scientists whose lives have been ruined as a result of the Justice Department’s “China Initiative.”

胡教授的案件将于6月7日在美国田纳西州东部地区法院开庭，我们希望社区成员能够在当天来到法院旁听庭审，以表示华人社区对他的支持。

胡安明是一位加拿大籍华裔，出身于中国农村的他自幼便抱着追求科学的梦想。他追随自己的梦想来到美国，并作为 NASA 研究员和田纳西大学诺克斯维尔分校 （UTK）的教授为我们的科研事业做出了极大的贡献。可是胡教授没有得到新的机遇，而是发现自己面临着一场噩梦，与家人分离，职业生涯被摧毁，他与众多科学家一样，因为司法部的 “中国行动计划” (“China Initiative”) 使他们的生活遭受到了无法估量的伤害。
