National AANHPI Business Summit

The U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) is celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month by hosting the 2024 National AANHPI Business Summit on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm ET in Washington D.C. with National ACE. This Business Summit will commemorate the contributions and achievements of the AANHPI business community. The summit will feature elected officials, dignitaries, and corporate representatives who will discuss access to capital, opportunities in artificial intelligence (AI), and navigating the contracting process.

The Featured Speaker for the Summit will be U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo. Other speakers include Deputy Secretary Don Graves; Acting Under Secretary for Minority Business Development Eric Morrisette; and Deputy Assistant to the President & AA and NHPI Senior Liaison Erika Moritsugu. The Business Summit will be followed by a reception in the lobby of the U.S. Department of Commerce [1401 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20230] at 4:15 pm. We welcome you to join us as we convene AANHPI business owners, business leaders, and policy experts to celebrate the contributions of the AANHPI business community. Reception speakers include Congresswoman Judy Chu; Congresswoman Amata Radewagen; Deputy Assistant Secretary Kendee Yamaguchi; and WHIAANHPI Executive Director Krystal Ka’ai.
