National Council of Asian Pacific Americans (NCAPA) Applauds Federal Circuit Court Ruling Against Proposed Muslim Ban
We applaud the overwhelming decision from the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Richmond, Va., that continues to block President Trump's "Muslim Ban 2.0" executive order. The Trump administration issued this executive order in March, which includes restriction on travel from six Muslim-majority nations.
Federal courts across the nation are sending a clear message--this ban is unconstitutional and runs counter to our basic values of inclusion and religious freedom. 
While we celebrate this victory, we know the fight is not over. We must continue to reject the xenophobia and anti-Muslim hate perpetuated by this administration, and we urge our leaders and communities to continue mobilizing to fight back against discriminatory and xenophobic policies and rhetoric.
